In 1963 Gladys left Cuba with her husband David and 2 daughters Ruth (one year old) and Susan (20 days old), Now she is blessed with 6 beautiful daughters, 7 grand children & 2 great grand children.PIMO was founded by the vision of Gladys Fernandez after attending a Mission trip in 2002 to the Philippines. That is when she received her calling to minister to the poorest of the poor. "While visiting a small village in the Philippines I was touched by the poverty. I could see by the look in their eyes that they were struggling. They were so thankful to receive a small ration of food. What I saw and felt in the children and elderly of this village changed me forever. The Lord touched my heart in a very special way and I have found my purpose in life. That purpose is to feed the hungry, care for the elderly by ministering to them, and give them encouragement and hope in the name of Jesus Christ!" -Gladys Fernandez
Ordination as Evangelist to the Nations
She was ordained by Rev. Rovirsemp J. Sehob with Assoc. Pastor Alex Abacajin & Pastor Phillip Paculba and Pastor Florendo the ordination took place in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao Philippines.
